I think that they were both excellent teams who deserved to win. Those who won the gold are not better than those who won the silver. Can you imagine loosing a race by one millisecond? Canade was leading two to one and they managed to loose that advantage. They were very lucky to score in a special extended playing time where the first one to score in the best and the winner. Why not just toss a coin and let head or tail decide who wins.
Anyways, it is not the time to rant but to celebrate the friendship between nations. The Olympics were a total joke during the cold war because of the drugs and the cheating. Now we could say that the spirit of the sport is in a better shape than ever. And Canada won yeah.
